Would you say that shows like 16 & Pregnant encourage teen pregnancy?

I kind of feel like it does. They keep coming out with new seasons of these shows with new girls. I'm sure there are thousands of tween girls out there that would love to be the next applicant on those shows. Why do you think they keep coming out with this kind of material? I mean, I thought it was cool the first time around, to teach young people a lesson but, its becoming an epidemic now. I know the show focuses a lot on their hardships as new parents and a lot of them end up single mothers but, I feel the girls on the show are getting the fame that any other girl wouldn't mind having and would do anything to attain. Does anybody feel the same way? Please share your thoughts.
