I need help with a AP Biology lab question. Would someone please help me?

The water potential of the potato cell would decrease because water moves from high to low water potential. As water is removed from the potato cells, it leaves more water outside the core than inside it. The surrounding environment of the potato core would then have the greater water potential since there is less water in the actual potato core.
