Descriptive Writing - A Pub?

How can an entrance be emaciated do you mean narrow don't try to be too clever with words if you get them wrong you just sound stupid & it puts people off reading. I cant place the time here you talk about toothless barmaids & Karaoke it just does not sound right If its a modern piece keep it real How many pubs have fires in the corner & gummy barmaids? you use some good descriptions i can see the big hairy belly & all but smell him but ugly man might be better than hideous being it makes him sound alien sorry if I've been a bit harsh but you asked for opinions the basics are there it just needs tweaking a bit. l
