Why do so many of you hate on Lil Wayne?

I've been listening to rap for years, I listen to Tech N9ne, Immortal Tech, Lupe, Wu-Tang Clan, Slaughterhouse, Bone Thugs.. I'm experienced. I know his new raps aren't that great because hes turned into a sellout, but he you have to respect the guy for how hard he works. Carter 1? That was decent. Carter 2? That was great. Carter 3? He had some good ones. The guy was in the studio every single day, constantly making songs. Sure, for him it's quantity over quality but 1 in 10 of his songs are good, but he makes them so constant. But to say he's trash? Not a chance. I can easily say he's in the top 10, or 15 rappers of all time. My question - Why hate on the guy? A man who hates on another man is pathetic.
