Why do Democrats not understand the wealthy keep the rest of us employed?

Democrats are known for tax and spend policies. They look where the money is for revenue. They will also have 20/20 hindsight once the economy collapses. I don't expect Obama to be keeping too many of his campaign promises as most of them have a very high price tag.
