Which parent has to pick up/ bring over the kid for father's visitation day?

When a father is granted visitation for his child, in most standard visitation cases, which parent is responsible for the transportation of the child (or children) ... Does that father have to pick up and drop his child off on his days or is the mother responsible for brining the child over to his house and picking the child up from fathers house on the fathers visitation days? My son's father wants to court order that I have to be the one to bring our son over and pick him up. I don't agree and tend to argue it because father lives 30 minutes away, those are HIS days to see his son, it's not my responsibility to make sure he see's his son. Help? Advise on how to fight it? How does it work, am i just worried for nothing?
