What would you do if you were in this situation?

You're stranded on an tropical island because some pirates abducted you and left you there, they'd said they'd come back to get you in 5 months, but they took your money, cell phone, anything else valuable, and you socks. This tropical island is filled with banana trees and is VERY big. You go for a walk on this island and discover that there is humans. They speak English. They tell you that the pirates that left you there are evil WONT come back to get you, but being the smart person that you are you have to devise a way to get out of that place and bring the rest of the humans with you. One man is very strong and another lady is weak. How would you get off this island? (this is for a descriptive writing cl. I just want to explore other's ways to get off the island.)
